A TRADITIONAL METHOD TAUGHT IN A MODERN WAY

Our Taiji is rooted in the traditional Wu Taijiquan system, focusing on alignment, relaxation, breath, and internal connection. Instead of using force, you learn to move with structure and efficiency, making it a method that enhances how your body works every day.

Lineage and integrity

Your training follows a respected line of transmission:

Yang Lu Chan → Yang Ban Hou → Wu Quan Yu → Wu Jianquan → Ma Yueliang → Zhou Zhong Fu → (European Representatives) SiFu Sergio Iadarola & SiFu Kleber Battaglia.

Sifu Tanja continues her training under SiGong Zhou Zhong Fu, with ongoing internal guidance from SiFu Sergio Iadarola, ensuring that Funchal classes reflect the Eternal Spring Institute’s approach. The system includes traditional forms like the Short and Long Form, Fast Form, Spear, Sword and pushing hands training such as the 9 Palace Steps.

TAIJI AND LONGEVITY

Its blend of relaxed movement, structural alignment and breath-led practice encourages healthier ageing and improved physical stability. Learning and refining the forms keeps the mind active — a meaningful way to support cognitive health, especially for adults in midlife and older.
